This stunning dress came straight from the estate of an awesome lady in New Jersey. This is her handmade 1930’s wedding dress, worn on her big day and then retained by her over the years. It is ivory tulle with three big ruffles and delicate buttons all the way up the back. It features a beautiful ruched bodice, puffy sleeves and tiny polka dots throughout. Photos just cannot do it justice. Note that the dress is very delicate due to age, and would need some thoughtful love before being worn by a modern bride.
Good condition, especially for the age of the dress. The last photo shows the biggest flaw, two tears in the right underarm. The photo makes them look more dramatic than they are in real life (in my opinion) but nevertheless, there they are. One small part of the lace on the bottom of the dress has also come loose, as seen in the first photo. The dress is also “dirty” in that you can tell it really needs a good cleaning and has some dusty spots. I’ve left that part to you, though, as the dress is so delicate and I am afraid to mess with it too much. If you’d like more photos, please just convo me!
Best fit is an XS or S or US 0-2. The dress requires a pretty tiny waist, but has a little more give room in the chest and hips.
